Question by Mike: How do i get internet on both my wireless laptop and wired desktop?
I recently just got a wirless router and a new laptop.. finally got wireless internet on my laptop but i have no internet on my desktop.at first when i was setting up the router for hours it was the other way around.. desktop had internet but none on the laptop…

just wanting to know how to get internet on both computers at the same time

assume ur laptop still has wireless. on your “wired″ desktop, make sure the cable is seated right, go to command prompt type ipconfig /release then ipconfig /renew see if that help.

      it sounds you did mistake in router setup, reset it.

      check to see if your wifi is on or call the wireless company and they will go step by step with you

      if you already have wireless on your laptop just use an Ethernet cable to connect the router to your desktop and then it should work

      If you can access the Internet on your laptop using your WiFi, then this will prove that your wireless router is working fine. You might want to check the Ethernet cable that connects the router to the desktop. Chances are you have plugged it loosely or you have mistakenly put it on the wrong port.
