okay, so i recently bought an xbox 360, and i’m having quite a bit of trouble hooking it up to xbox live. see, the computer near the xbox has a wireless connection to another computer. when i hook the xbox up to the wireless computer, it says that it’s wired, but that there’s a problem with the IP address. any help?

you might have to give the xbox your ip address manually. on your xbox dashboard, go to settings, then internet connections (something like that), and find somewhere where you can manually connect it. i used youtube, there are dozens of videos and i remember thats how i got mine to work. search “how to get xbox live wirelessly for free”
