so recently i have had a few small jobs off of referrals from friends and fam, but i really need work so whats a good way to get new work for myself ? yellow pages, today home mag, internet i am so lost in the advertising dept so if any one could help that would be GREATLY APPRECIATED

The internet is a very powerful tool. It can make you an instant millionare, it can also cause major heartache. Millions of people are acutually addicted to the internet, I read a story of a couple who left their baby starve on account of their internet!! Although with my vision, the internet, can be used to connect people with each other. Spreading knowledge all across the world, lending a helping hand, virtually. There are plenty of great ways to do this, including, joining a web group that suits one’s interests, such as Yahoo! Groups, and their Q&ampA forums. Try blogging, or contributing knowledge to special sites, such as www.associatedcontent.com and www.helium.com. The greatest benefit here, is with all of the options described, and plenty more, there is MUCH MONEY TO BE MADE!!!! My thoughts are, if you have something to contribute, and those around you are hesitant to listen and believe, turn to the internet. Many resources are available through the world wide web. Connecting the world, (multiple) people at a time. I believe the internet, can save people, can help people grow towards a better tomorrow. I myself own and operate many different business online, mostly writing, publishing and giving advice, along with sales / marketing. I have helped many people, and have even been recognized for my work. I use the internet to help others, to contribute, to support, to save, to connect and of course, the internet is great way to gain knowledge through research, fun and educational.

I have to write a 5-10 page paper for my american history class. I am very interested in the internet, telecommunications and other technologies but im not sure howi can find a topic in those relative to american history. Any topic suggestions (including those not relative to my interests) would be helpful hhere. Thanks!

How about writing about Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency which was the precursor to the Internet.
